Lonoke Country Christian Clinic
The LCCC is a non-profit Christian Ministry which strives to improve the quality of life of the medically uninsured in our community.
Open Arms Shelter
Since 1986, Open Arms Shelter has provided emergency shelter to over 1,800 victims of abuse and neglect between the ages of birth and 18 years. It serves not only as a steppingstone for children in Arkansas awaiting placement in foster homes, treatment facilities or with relatives, but also a critical source of education, rehabilitation, love, attention and discipline. At Open Arms Shelter, children can stay in the program for a maximum of forty-five days. In addition to a room, three meals a day, and around the clock supervision by our highly experienced staff, the children attend public school, receive individualized behavior management and instruction, and receive instruction on basic life skills. Children come from every conceivable crisis situation due to abuse and neglect. Open Arms Shelter provides a structured, loving environment that may often be the sole significant caring event in a child’s life. That stay with us may provide the basis for hope that will stay with them and positively influence them for a lifetime. Open Arms Shelter is a private, nonprofit 501(C)3 organization and is licensed by the State of Arkansas. It is governed by a 15 member volunteer board and is audited annually by a certified public accountant. All donations are tax-deductible.
