Missions Resources for Children

Where do I find missions stories?  How do I teach our children about people groups?  How do missionaries meet the spiritual needs of different people groups?  The Missions Support Team at the Arkansas Baptist State Convention is there to equip you and your church to support missions and grow spiritually towards a missions lifestyle.  Following are resources that can assist your church in learning about missions and participating in mission action/witnessing:

International Mission Study 2011 - London
This resource includes 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour sessions for preschoolers, children, and students to learn about missions taking place in London.  Through this study, participants will see how Lottie Moon Christmas Offering helps with missions around the world.

Children in Action Leader (digital download)
A downloadable resource provides children's leaders with one month of curiculum.  Using this resource, children's ministers can customize Children in Action to correspond with their church's missions emphases.  (Available units:  Helping the Hungry in India; Maritime Missions in Philadelphia; Ministry in Multicultural Toronto; Project Northern Lights; Pure Water, Pure Love in Brazil; Savannah Baptist Center; Set Sail to Thailand; Showing God's Love to Sailors; Surf's Up on Reunion Island)
