Matthew 5:43-45 - “[Love Your Enemies] "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com. Copyright (C) ESV. All Rights Reserved.

                           WELCOME

The Caroline Baptist Association is a group of 35 SBC churches in the counties of Lonoke and Prairie Counties of central Arkansas.  The churches expand from Cabot  to Keo, then east to Biscoe and up to Des Arc,  and all of our churches within this area.

We are very grateful to the Lord for every congregation that is in partnership together in these two counties that work, minister, and support the work God is doing in this association.

What makes Southern Baptists so unique is our cooperation in our missions locally and all across the world.  Our association is also a partner with the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, as well as the national Southern Baptist Convention.

Caroline Baptist Association provides  mission trip opportunities to Mexico and to Guatemala.  We currently are in partnership with the "Operation Go"  work in Guatemala and with Bro. Larry and Sarah Plyler, our IMB missionaries.   "Torre Fuertes Iglesia Bautista" is a mission church that we also support in Jocotenango, Guatemala.

Our churches and association  work together in providing church leadership training,  VBS training,  local mission outreach events,  Women's ministry retreats,  men and boys missions fellowships, support Disaster Relief workers,  Association Annual Choral program,  Sr. Adult Fellowship Luncheon,  Public School teacher luncheon support,  Sunday School training,  Evangelism training,  Youth Ministry Rallys and a retreat,  along with other events. We also assist churches with any needs they may have.

We Pray, that all we are doing and will do together, will continue to help build the KIngdom of our Lord as we strive to be obedient to the GREAT COMMISSION  in Matt. 29: 19 - 20.

Thank you for visiting our website today.

Bro. Jerry Miller,

Association Director of Missions

Haiti Relief

Your state convention is actively engaged in a response effort to assist the people of Haiti who experienced the horrific 7.3 earthquake on Tuesday, January 12, 2010.  You may want this information to share with your people tonight in prayer meeting.

 ·        We are in contact with the Florida Baptist Convention which is leading the SBC's response to the tremendous needs of the people.
·         We are communicating with Disaster Relief Units throughout the U.S. in the planning and staging of a Disaster Relief response.
·         We have placed radio operators on standby to assist with the early communication problems.
Presently these are some vital ways that your church may assist in the disaster response to Haiti:
·         Pray for the victims and the early assessment teams as they arrive and develop the ground response.
·         Due the fluidity of the crisis, donations get needed materials to the affected area much faster.
§ One hundred percent of the money given through the Arkansas Baptist State Convention will go to the relief effort.
§ Credit card gifts can be given by:
·         Calling the Missions Ministries Team of the Convention at 1-800-838-2272
·         Going online at absc.org after 2:00pm tomorrow
§ Checks designated to Haiti relief can be sent to the Arkansas Baptist State Convention, 10 Remington Drive, Little Rock, AR 72204.
·         The Missions Ministry team will have more information in the coming days concerning how volunteers can assist in the relief effort.
In Him,
Emil Turner
